**AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE LEAGUE SECRETARY**

All clubs should have received the HFA forms in the post and are reminded to return the completed form ASAP to Mrs Jackie Carter (League Secretary) and NOT direct to the HFA.

Please do not send money with the HFA form as you will be advised of costs at a later date.

The handbook covers Disciplinary Procedures for teams dealt with by County Associations under Match Based and Time Based Discipline Regulations.

From the start of 2011/2012 season all open aged football will receive Match Based suspensions i.e. Saturday, Sunday, Midweek and Veterans. All Discipline in Youth and Small Sided football will remain time based.

In 2009/2010 season five leagues outside of the National League System operated under the Match Based Disciplinary procedures as a pilot, they were Kershaw, West Riding Amateur, Suburban, Bedfordshire & District Sunday and Herefordshire Saturday Leagues. Last season The FA included the Cambridge & District Sunday League and the St. Neots Sunday League who, along with the above Leagues piloted the system.

The FA Council agreed that all open aged football from the start of 2011/2012 would operate under Match Based Discipline regulations which will improve the consistency of sanctions across the Country and ensure suspensions that are imposed on Players are fair and in proportion to the offence they have been charged with.

Club Secretaries - Check your Details? Everybody in the league relies on the details provided by clubs and recorded on the website. Whether it is a league officer sending out information, a home club wishing to confirm a match or referees and players looking for venue details, everybody turns to the website.

Many of the membership forms that come in at this time of the year show changes in club officers, team colours (check with the general secretary before changing yours), new grounds (inspection required?) and other key information. Please make sure you check the details recorded for your club and update them where necessary. I have sent emails with website logging-in details to all club officers. Should you need a reminder please let me know and I will re-send them.
